Michigan Transfer Agreement

The Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) is a partnership between Michigan鈥檚 colleges and universities that allows students to complete core college courses at one institution and transfer those credits to other partner institutions to be applied to the core requirements.

To be eligible to receive the 鈥淢TA-Satisfied鈥� designation on the 吃瓜网 academic transcript, students must:

  • Complete 吃瓜网鈥檚 bachelor degree General Education Core Requirements with a minimum of a C or higher in each course. If students transfer coursework to 吃瓜网, any coursework used toward 吃瓜网鈥檚 General Education Core Requirements will be required to have a minimum grade of a C or higher.
  • Complete at least one credit bearing course at 吃瓜网.
  • Submit the completed 吃瓜网 MTA Application Form.

Coursework in areas of prior learning are not applicable to the MTA at this time (e.g.,International Baccalaureate-IB, College-Level Examination Program-CLEP, DANTES Subject Standardized Test-DSST, etc.). Students requesting and earning this designation, will have it applied to their academic transcript at the completion of the academic semester.
