Michigan Transfer Agreement

The Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) is a partnership between Michigan’s colleges and universities that allows students to complete core college courses at one institution and transfer those credits to other partner institutions to be applied to the core requirements.

To be eligible to receive the “MTA-Satisfied” designation on the Թ academic transcript, students must:

  • Complete Թ’s bachelor degree General Education Core Requirements with a minimum of a C or higher in each course. If students transfer coursework to Թ, any coursework used toward Թ’s General Education Core Requirements will be required to have a minimum grade of a C or higher.
  • Complete at least one credit bearing course at Թ.
  • Submit the completed Թ MTA Application Form.

Coursework in areas of prior learning are not applicable to the MTA at this time (e.g.,International Baccalaureate-IB, College-Level Examination Program-CLEP, DANTES Subject Standardized Test-DSST, etc.). Students requesting and earning this designation, will have it applied to their academic transcript at the completion of the academic semester.
